We are proud to announce that we have Gold accredited status in Transport for London’s (TfL) Travel for Life programme (formerly STARS) This is the highest honour for schools reducing car use and promoting active, safe travel. To achieve Gold, we must continue to reduce car travel by 6% or ensure 90% of school journeys are via sustainable modes, alongside delivering 25+ activities. 

Key Aspects of Gold Accreditation we are striving to maintain:

• Requirements: Schools must deliver at least 25 educational activities, 15 supporting activities, and hold eight consultations within three years.
• Impact: Gold-accredited schools demonstrate a 6% reduction in car use or achieve 90% of pupils travelling sustainably (walking, cycling, scooting).
• Target Audience: The program focusses on reducing congestion and air pollution on the school run for children aged 3-17.
• Benefits: Recognition as a top-tier school for safety and sustainability
